I recommend you get on the Saudi forum of Dave's ESL cafe even if you are not teaching English as many of the issues are similar no matter what level, subject or locaiton. On this forum, teachers do not form too vocal a minority, and advice is usually more general.

ill be teaching in Al Ahsa....
my subject areas are Biology and Chemistry

yeah... you said all that in your first and other posts. I meant what's the name of your employer and/or location you'll be working at.

If you are in Al Ahsa (also known as Al Hasa) check out the railway line and passenger serviuce that runs from Dammam via Hofuf to Riyadh.

Al Ahsa is also known as Al Hasa. Hofuf is the main town.
