any sports in dubai?
I've recently moved to Dubai and having been searching the internet (with no luck) for a sport I can participate in. I'm a Dragonboater but seeing as there is no Dragon Boat racing in the UAE, I need to find a new sport. Is anyone aware of any clubs that I can join (apart from golf!)?
Diolch yn fawr.

What's wrong with golf...it's near damn near the perfect sport.......keeps you fit with at least 6km's of walking per round - more if you're not very good. good for socialising as you can chat on the way round. Great for hand eye coordination'.....plus I hear you Boyfriend is a pretty fine golfer?

Do you know if any of the clubs have websites I can check out or do I need to go for a walk along there?

some places I can recommend are
the Dubai Marine Beach Club... just behind Palm Strip
or the Jumeirah Beach Club... with the huge sails at the front entrance.
u may want to check out the hotels on the Dubai Marina Island...... the Sheraton, The Ritz, The Merediens (there r 3 on that stetch) or Oasis Beach.
hope that helps. Dont hesitate to ask any more q's. Always happy to help!
