American - not British - Radio in Riyadh
Hello,
When I drive around some areas in Riyadh and Jeddah; I can catch the signal of an American news radio, which is NPR. I am aware that it is broadcasted from the US embassy in Riyadh and the US consulate in Jeddah via transmitters. I am wondering why the British embassy can not do something similar to the audiences in Riyadh by airing the BBC World Service or BBC Radio 4?

I noticed that on the northwest side of Riyadh I could sometimes get American country music on FM... is this also from the embassy?
