Whenever we drove past the site I used to wonder what their target market was. Presumably it was aimed at people working in Sharjah, UAQ or (at a pinch) RAK - or did they really expect people to commute from there into Dubai each day?

Why has the mainstream news media not reported on this or is that a daft question given who owns most of the media here? I hope it gets coverage back home as it may save thousands of other sorry punters losing their shirts on similar mad development schemes over here...revolving towers and dinosaur theme parks come to mind.

many projects are falling by the wayside in Ajman. a certain man there whilst being very endearing has very grandiose ideas
