Default Al Khobar off roading

Hi
Does anyone know any good places to go off roading anywhere close to Al Khobar, with potential to camp?
Cheers

Loads of people go down the coast around half moon bay area (30 mins from Khobar), but I think there a better (read quieter) places to go camping a bit further away. Between Hofuf and the Qatari border is supposed to be very nice..

To be honest your best bet is to ask some locals at work where the best place to go is. As I'm sure you've noticed a lot of the desert in Eastern Province is fenced in so you want to find somewhere this isn't a problem..
