Default Al Jazeera Academy - Doha, Qatar - Any info?

Hi All,

I'm looking for some information and advice.

I have an interview with Al Jazeera Academy in Doha as a primary teacher. I've heard mixed reviews about the school. Does anyone have first hand experience of the school? Or know someone that is there now?

What should I expect salary wise? I've got a degree and PGCE with QTS with one year supply experience. Plus a TEFL and 5 years ESL experience. From doing a search I saw it should be at least 10k is this still true or can I expect more/ what should I ask for?). Accommodation is included.

Also what is Doha like as a place to live? My husband (Indonesian) will be coming with me as a non teaching spouse so what sort of clubs are there. He's into sports most sports actually but in particular football. Is there a Hash House Harriers Club in Doha? Any outdoor activities groups?

Sorry for the hundred questions. Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated
