Re: Al Ain Hospital
Hi McTins, hows things? I know how your feeling, I've been hounding their HR daily over the phone, they seem a law unto themselves. In the end whenever I phoned I just asked to speak to the HR manager directly. Its so infruiating waiting I know, but I just kept on hassling them (politely!). I was promised an email on Sunday yet only today I had it through.
Hopefully see you soon,

Hi!Thanks for your reply Fin,
It's really hard when you are on this situation, they are good at first
(agency)and now,no more reply at all.At the moment,my wife employed in Sunderland Royal Hospital.As a young couple with 2 kids,age 4 and 2 yrs.old,
is very stressful and yet enjoyable. We decided to move to ME,to experience
life there. Were still on step 1,any advise what agency or direct to Al Ain hosp.
as a Nurse(Medical/Surgical)specialty,any help would be great..Thanks...

Re: Al Ain Hospital
I had a pantsful of going through agencies as they didn't seem to get me anywhere, so I just applied directly to the hospital, I sent my application off on the 29/12/08 and have only just recieved my offer through (they don't seem to move quickly!) and I did get very frustrated. My only advice is to either ring the agnecy and ask to speak to the rep who set you up or their manager, failing that the HR department at AA Hopsital. But it is a pain!

Re: Al Ain Hospital
Its not a straight forward process to recruit staff overseas so please and I know its easy to say be patient and keep contacting them and if you are what the hospital is looking for it will happen. We are coming up to 2 years in Al Ain and its a lovely place and the hospital is going through very exciting changes.
Good luck

Mc Tins,
I've just been offered job in Abu Dhabi, peads nurse. I went through HCL international who have been really helpful and reasonably quick compared to a lot of places. Don't know if any help.

Re: Al Ain Hospital
Hi Sarah!:
Congrats!Well done..Thanks for sharing it with us,we do have couple of
agencies also,my wife's area is not really offered in AD right now.We just
keep on looking from time to time.Pulse Staffing is on the process now,but
they turn down,Al Ain hosp.because of low salary,i dont know if it is true.
My wife's experience is 6 yrs now,in Rehab.Respite(Elderly)and Medical,
Surgical and Vascular Ward...But we like Al Ain,compared to some places
in UAE.

Morning Hammad,
Yep, I think that its true, I'm a radiographer in the UK, and I think that what you earn depends on your negiotation skills and how many years experience that you have

Re: Al Ain Hospital
Thanks for replying. In the USA were i work i get paid around 6500 US dollars which is equivalent to 23,800 AED before taxes, after taxes around 5000 US dollars wich around 18,500 AED. If u mind what was the start offer and how much did u push it during negotiating do they include accommodation and family or on a single contract.
Did you use a recruitment agency to help find the job ?
What do think about HCI International ?
Thanks
