Hi Guys, just a quick query, i've been offered a job at AA Hospital, and my wife and 1 year old are coming with me, they've offered accomodation just wondering what the accomodation is like? cheers

I think that depends on the position you have been offered. A friend of mine is joining AA Hospital in the summer and has been given a generous allowance to attain a villa. He is a Consultant.

Hello all,

Just another quick query (tell me if it sounds promising or not), I spoke to a lady in HR who said that I was successful in getting the job and just waiting now to offer me a contract, that was two weeks ago, haven't heard anything since, everytime I try to ring her she's never there, or her colleagues will say that they'lll pass the message on, I don't want to keep hassling her (for annoyance factor as well as telephone bill!),

So ifyou are happy to PM then I will help in anyway I can. A very good friend of mine who works in the hospital is dealing with HR stuff so maybe I can find out for you through him.

Thats strange over here they dont really employ Brits or Aussies as Radiographers, that job is deemed more of a ...how shall i put it.....lower class position done mostly by Phili's.

It would be great for them to emply someone who actually know what they are doing, had enough of trying to explain to Philipino's what Quality assurance is...

Reporting is a nightmare and re exposure's are bloody high!

Bloody hell don't tell me that now, no wonder they aren't getting back to me! No i don't do repeat films just additional views!!! In my interview they said that they were getting a new interventional radiologist in, and its what i've specialised in, so fingers crossed! Do you work in radiology out there?

whoops, i could be wrong.....just I havent seen any Brits or Aussies as radiogrpahers in Dubai and yes work in Radiology.

:)hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum.it seems that all the people here are friendly and helpful.I'm following this thread for almost 6 months now since we're planning to move there...My wife is a nurse and applied for a post in AA hospital. She had the pre-assessment interview from the head of the recruitment based in the said hospital.Supposed to be she was scheduled for a final interview 3 weeks ago but since that she was working on that day,she asked for another date to call her back...until this time, she's still awaiting to be interviewed by them. she sent email twice to the agency but their's no reply...I'm quite concern about it because she's looking forward to work there but I don't know what's going on.
