Default Al-Ain Help

Thinking of going to Al-Ain for the day soon, and was wondering if there are any nice Friday buffets over that way.
Also, what is there to see and do? Zoo, Jebel Hafeet is about all i know of.
Thank you

Hi Twistopher - haven't been to Al Ain for a while, but did do a zoo trip maybe a year or so ago... It ain't Whipsnade or Windsor Safari, but it's an adequate zoo and the animals look to be fairly well kept (unlike Dubai Zoo). Have eaten at the Hilton in Al Ain, no great shakes but decent enough...same goes for the hotel at the top of Jebel Hafeet, the view is a novelty but the food is average. The museum and oasis area are interesting, there is a nice barasti restaurant in the middle of the oasis. The remains of the bee-hive tombs at the base of Jebel Hafeet are cool too, if you can find them (they aren't signposted).

Have a great trip!
