Ajman

I have done a forum search but most information relating to Ajman seems to be quite old (and sparse). I have been offered a job there, but have no idea about the place (other than I lived for two years in Abu Dhabi until 2008). the past threads about Ajman seem to warn about being a dirty unfinished place, problems with water and electricity supply, the bottom dropped out of it with the boom and bust in Dubai.

Can anyone give me any up to date info. please? Is it still unadvisable to live near the Emirates Road? I may end up having an apartment or more likely a hotel apartment (damn)...any advice gratefully received.

Re: Ajman

Ajman is alledgedly a place for total consevatism in UAE besides that I can`t see any motivating factor to move there further to my uncle experience there ...

my opinion is ; re-think about finding better opportunity nearby Abu Dhabi taking into account that you re familiar with the place.

Final decision; pended:zzz:

All I have to say about Ajman is that it's...a dirty unfinished place, problems with water and electricity supply, the bottom dropped out of it with the boom and bust in Dubai...hope that helps.:)Seriously, one good thing about Ajman is that you're only an hour's drive from relative civilization, unless places like Gizan, Yanbu or Riyadh.
