Airport scans
Does anyone know what the actual deal is with getting scanned at the airport regarding this swine flu bowlacks. Am travelling with the kids back to the UK this week and they both have a bit of a fever, am i in any danger of getting them quarantined at either end?

According to DH you don't get checked leaving here ;) and in the UK they do know the difference between swine flu and a bit of a temperature :) |

Well we came back from Beijing earlier this morning and no apparent checking whatsoever in Dubai. It was quite the opposite in PEK where medical staff even came on the plane and took everyones temperature before anyone was allowed off aircraft (5th June) (This was just a slight touch of a handheld machine on the forehead) Also whilst waiting last night to board the EK flight a second one arrived on the next stand and the time before people emerged seemed to indicate the "temperature boys" were again in action there! Different standards?? |
