Haven't been looking at pensions but assume it's probably a good idea. What's the alternative to those long term non-resident options flogged by half-wits? Shorter term plans with more flexibility in your case. If you have a significant lump sum then there are vehicles that have long term tax advantages for Brits, especially if they return to the UK. |

No. Interest rates are very low and you have the potential to earn more, over the longer term, from equity-linked investment. Ideally you build up a cash lump sum (equivalent to 3-6 months outgoings minimum) and then look at investing.
