ADNOC Direct Hire and Special Contract

Hi,

Does anyone know the difference between an ADNOC Direct Hire and Special Contract in terms of the compensation such as the below:

Basic Salary + General/Supplemental Allowances
Housing Allowance
Relocation Allowance (if based in Dubai)
Schooling Allowance
Annual Leaves
End Of Service Benefits

Moreover, what about any differences in terms of job security? Is special contract a limited term contract where ADNOC decides let's say after the end of one year if they want to renew or not?

Many thanks for your response.

ADNOC Direct Hire - Salary is paid to your account. Housing to the landlord upon providing the invoice. Schooling cist is also paid to the school directly (35k per child for maximum of 3or4 children). If your are western expat and you want to send your children to a top school, this cost will not cover it.
Special Contract - cash payment to your account each month is expected to cover all of the above. In my view best option since you can control your housing cost, etc.

Negotiate high on either option!
Always better if both parents' are working
Ensure annual flight cost reimbursement is mentioned in the contract (in the special contract option)

All the best.

Hi, just out of curiousity, what is the timeline for recruitment at the moment?

Thanks

Re: ADNOC Direct Hire and Special Contract

Case by case basis, timeline will depend on the speed of government offices, company HR and more importantly how much the hiring manager is on top of the case.
