Accomodation for Doctors at Rashid Hospital
Hi, does anybody know what the accomodation for doctors and their families is like? My husband has been offered a job at the Rashid Hospital. We have one child. I heard it was apartments near Lamcy Plaza but I don't know what their like. Any help? The thought of moving to a towerblock is seriously putting me off.

all the stuff near Lamcy is low rise, maximum 14 floors or so I would guess.

We moved to Dubai 4 years ago and since then we've lived right next to Rashid Hospital. Oud Metha is fine. It is all apartments, there are some pretty nice blocks like Al Nasr Palace and a new build next to it plus Heathcare City is coming up which is 5 mins up the road. The area is pretty much lo rise, not hi rise though it is apartments.
2 bed in our building would be approx 130K i think. (for reference we took the flat at 75K and that was seen as too much a couple years ago....)
Oud Metha is a great place to be central. There's not that much here, but everything is near. Not great for big families wanting villas...
