Academic work in Abu Dhabi

Hello there.

Just wondering if anyone has any comments on living working in Sharjah.

I'm a female researcher/lecturer.... had applied for a lecturing position at the University of Sharjah. I did the skype interview two months ago and there has been some email exchange with the universey recently. They asked me to send more documents and to fill the recruiment forms...haven't been offered the job yet.

I would like to know about the usual salary package and how the life is in Abu Dhabi.

That said I need to know both the good and bad stuff... so I am all ears!

Im particularly interested in finding out more about how easy/difficult will it be and the best ways to build a social life!

Look forward to hearing from you and thanks in advance.

Cheers

S

So, you plan to live and work in Sharjah, but want to know what salaries and life is like in Abu Dhabi?

Only thing you need to know is that the commute is a nightmare...
