Abu Dhabi residency - degree + wedding cert in Arabic now???
Changing jobs and apparently for residency you now need the original docs to not only be attested by everyone and his wife but also then translated into Arabic.
Presumably this then needs to be attested by someone to say it's an authentic translation??? Is this right? Getting rubbish information from the appointed immigration "experts"...so thought I'd ask: Anyone done this recently?

Re: Abu Dhabi residency - degree + wedding cert in Arabic now???
back in jan the law changed yet again about the transferring of jobs, no objection, degrees attested etc etc.
i think you need a new one from the min of foreign affairs a stamp for 150
from before a purple stamp from the consular section, been attested by a notary public and also has a transalation to arabic of the degree.
you also have to make sure that your job title is the same, as they are now all tied in together. when the last visa was done for my hubs they mis-read it and his job title is now something totally different to what it should be (and was before) and now it needs to be "amended".
