Abu Dhabi Gridlock
That was fun last night. Couldn't move for 3 hours. Manhattan style. Missed my tee time at City Golf Club but took a chill pill, abandoned the car and had a leisurely dinner at the Royal Orchid (hmmn deep fried ice cream) with a colleague in a similar predicament. Ho hum!

apparently traffic light failed, something broke down, new saadiyat road was closed for something or other, so all the trucks were diverted down salam st, something closed on corniche for repair, police moving vips around, helicopters flying overhead.......... so put them all together and what do you get.......
