Abu Dhabi or Dubai for single female?
 

After 5 years in London I am considering a move to Abu Dhabi or Dubai, and was wondering which people would recommend for a single early 30s female? I have a family member in Abu Dhabi (married with kids) so seems logical to go there, but mostly hear of singles moving to Dubai - would this be the better place for an active social life (including sports) and likeminded people?

Dubai certainly has more single people, but Abu Dhabi has all the best looking ones.

To answer the OP's post, I'd say Dubai hands-down. I spent most of my w/ends driving down there to escape the dreary repetitiveness of Abu D's night-spots.....

But I'm not sure I'd choose either in the present economic climate.....

Dubai is not as good as it used to be. Abu Dhabi deffo :) and you always have family members there.
Anyways Abu Dhabi or Dubai its a sausge fest in both.

You would be fine in either. What field are you in? It's probably more pertinent at the moment to consider where you would get the best job rather than where you would have the best social life. Seems Dubai is laying off people by the shed-load but not so much in Abu Dhabi.
