Hello Lexy - I did create a Facebook group for BE members called

why is it they love to moan so much? Could you do me a favour and find out from your other half what the command times are like just now. OH has 7000 hours, 4000 of those jets, 3000 of those command. He is on a good ticket here really, home ever night, so to sit for 3 years + on right hand site would be too much for him to handle! I don't fancy being at the old villas...... I am looking forward to drinking wine with you so that would not be able to happen if I was so far away!
Pretty sure though with those hours he must qualify for accelerated command! When OH joined there was no DEC option and they brought it in a couple of months after he arrived - he had 9800 hours and the requirement at that time was 10,000 and they wouldn't accept it even though he had a few years training experience!!!!!!!!!!!! Think they have lowered that level though now

OK will do - at the moment the guys on Boeing seem to have had the best of it - probably to do with the airbus delays etc. Although they have been doing some upgrade conversions recently, ie f/o airbus to capt boeing. Always looking for new drinking buddies
