I saw a few pics of Sheffield at the 1 minute mark, I went to that Magna science place when it opened some years ago, it was very interesting, its on old steelworks located 4 miles from where I used to work.
Yorkshire, What a Fab Place.

Magna is on the site of the old Steel, Peach and Tozer works, it is on Sheffield Road if that helps at all?

I haven't been to Sheffield in years but when I lived there most of the steel works were on Penistone Road...saying that I remember there were some in Tinsley. We used to get on the bus to town and pass the steel works on Penistone Road. The windows...if you can call them that...were large openings with no glass. You could see the men inside working with the red hot steel.

I know what you mean about the men working in steelworks, I used to work just off Attercliffe Road close to the British Steel Works, the the Don Valley Stadium sits there now, Id stand in the Q at the chippy with those guys, they were Filthy.
