Twin Cities (St.Paul/Minneapolis) Brits??

Re: Twin Cities (St.Paul/Minneapolis) Brits??
I did a walk in three weeks before my appointment, they saw me with no problems, the whole process took about 15 mins. If you want to speed the process up then I heartily recommend this approach!
You MUST take your appointment letter, passport, and some other photo ID. They will give you a clipboard with some paperwork to fill out, you then go for your photograph to be taken, and then some fairly extensive fingerprinting, a couple of times a finger if I remember correctly.
Assuming your wife has applied for AP/EAD then her combo card could come as soon as a week.

Re: Twin Cities (St.Paul/Minneapolis) Brits??
I just joined the site and I am wondering how many ex-Brits on this thread are still in the TC?
I have lived here since 1998 save for one year on a work assignment in Toronto. My family still lives in Basildon (the New Jersey of England as I feel I have to describe it) but I grew up in Bath, (most US folks know of that!)
<snip>, as well as get out and about connecting with past, present and future friends.
If anyone would like to connect through this thread or over FB or Linkedin that would be great.
Thanks!
Andrew

Re: Twin Cities (St.Paul/Minneapolis) Brits??
It's been ages since I've been on a Brit meetup, so like Andrew above, am also interested in who is still around. It does seem like I meet Brits in the most random of places (work, Dock 96, the subway in Eden Prairie...)
Andrew, I can imagine in your line of business, the accent is certainly a door opener.
As an aside, I used to visit the tractor factory in Basildon quite frequently. My sister lived in Bath until about a week ago, she is now in Brizzle.
