Hi everyone,
I am visiting New England in Feb/March/April 2013, staying with my sister and her family in Newport RI.

Does anyone fancy meeting up in RI/MA and giving me some tips as I am considering emigration from the UK to the US?

I have just left the Fire and Rescue Service after many years as a Watch Commander/Station Officer so ideally would be looking for a job although not necessarily in that sector.

I'd love to hear from you.

Have a read of the wiki to see what visa options you might have if you arent' already a US citizen as the chances of getting sponsorship in the fire service will be severely limited to the point of no chance, certainly in MA.
