New York

Hey,

I was just wondering if there were any expats living in New York??? My husband and I are moving to Westchester (Mamaroneck area) which is 25 minutes away from Grand Central. Trying to build a small network of people to meet up with even if it’s just once a month that’s outside mine/my partners work networks.

Would be good to hear from a few of you :)

:D thanks for getting back to me! Where abouts are you? I will be in Mamaroneck but I figured saying NY would open it up to more people.

I will be back over in October for a more permenant stay that last time :)

I live in Bethel, Connecticut, about 15/20 mins from Brewster, NY. I'm always free :D

Yeah I just noticed it under your name oops lol Bethel is just under an hours drive away from where I will be :) so not too far by American standards ;) we should get a wee meeting planned for sure :) it’s always good to have a support network especially someone who has got the t-shirt!

I'm in Vermont but have friends in NYC and tend to make trips down once or twice a year. Anytime I head down, I'm up for meeting some fellow expats.

Sounds like a plan of action to me :) it will be nice to have someone who understands as such to talk to

Yeah its my first time living in the usa! although my Gran lives in Orlando and my stepmum is American so I am no stranger. I'm E2 even though everyone slates it haha I loved the business and can eventually get a green card through my stepmum anyway.

What about yourself? :)

We should set something up then, I can get the train right in to Grand Central from Bethel. Good luck with the move, we're experiencing some dodgy weather, which for an expat, can be very scary.... tornado warnings/watch's etc!!!
