Good question. Raymore probably not. KC there is decent shopping, some cool museums (Nelson Atkins, WW1, College Basketball), Johnson County, Kansas has a lot of stuff going on as well. Power and Light, A lot of it around here is a growing and developing area, so I imagine more will happen. It's also a pretty good time to be a local sports fan!

For the last 500 years it was, it became "Manchester" as a unitary authority only in 1974. The GPO never accepted it, and it was always Manchester, Lancs.

If you want to argue, look at where Lancashire cricket club is.....

Lancashire Cricket Club is in Greater Manchester, as is the city of Manchester. Moved there before Greater Manchester became Greater Manchester. It used to be part of Lancashire, it is not anymore.
