Hi unfortunately I recently moved from NJ to the Charlotte area. Make sure you take some walks around the Hoboken area as there are great restaurants and bars there. Enjoy.

Hi all, we've recently moved to paulis hook, jersey city. Slowly finding our feet, but always looking to find new things to do or get advice from people that have been here a while.

I'm from York, living in Matawan, central New Jersey now with my US wife.

I've met a guy from Salford who works in Wegmans and a lady at my church is from Manchester.

It's nice running into fellow Brits.

Moving from London.. Pretty stoked. Just trying to work my way around these forums to gather as much first hand experience as I can. As much as im excited to start a new life there, I would like to find fellow brits that I can connect with and keep up some British traditions that I know im gonna miss..

Well I will be looking for a job. The company I work for in London is US based but I doubt they will move me. I won't tell them anyway until once I get approved and at that point it's leaving it a bit late to ask for a move. I assume for a couple of months I will be unemployed until I get my EAD so I will be looking a job as soon as I get it. pretty flexibile with location so can be NY NJ Or Philly.. Will be living in Jackson with fiancé until I get a job so we can move out..
