Smile Brits in BOSTON, MA (Old Englanders in New England)

I've trawled through nine pages of meet-up posts so thought I'd throw the net our for Brits in New England, specifically Boston of course...

If you're there, say hi. I've discovered a few useful tricks and would love to hear a few more....

I found most of the New England meetups are centred in Boston, very infrequent and poor attendance
Not convenient as I'm 20 miles south of Boston, would like to find more ex pats in that area especially those with football interest.

The only time I go into Boston with great regularity is on Six Nations rugby weekends - there's a fair turnout of the British crowd among the few (Irish) bars in the city that show the matches.

I live 20 mins away from Providence in RI. I dont get the chance to get up to Boston that much even it being only an hour and 30 mins from my home.

I live about 30-mins North of Boston. Try to head in on the odd weekend if the sun is shining or for fun in the evening. Bit of a pain to get in and out of.

I either park at Alewife and take the subway in or park under the common for $11.

That's my tip for the day

It would be nice if we can get some kind of get together going. I certainly miss talking to fellow brits about things in general and talking about football. Anyone interested in arranging a meet up sometime soon?

I'd be interested but I tend not to drive into Boston at night. I used to meet a fellow footie fan at Pheonix Cambridge ( bit of a dump but they show games live) on Sat or Sun mornings and watch the games He moved away a couple of years ago and I tend to be a couch footie fan now
I live 20 miles south of Boston so it is a hike for me

Boston is also a hike for me as it takes me between 1 hour to 30 mins depending on the traffic in that time, sometimes it can be so much quicker but if we could arrange something outside of Boston on the south side that would be so much better.

Unfortunately I don't do the Facebook thing and I'm quite far from Boston itself on the North Shore. I wouldn't mind downing some ales fairly locally with any fellow Brits who are football fans.
