I'm from Birmingham. What's the link for Brit's meetup.
Time to time we used meet up in Londoner pub in Addison. I believe that's closed now. Londoner in Frisco seems more of sports bar rather than a Pub.

We're in Frisco, but I warn you, American rugby is in the dark ages compared with England. Not just the players, but facilities, everything. I'm trying to change that and am seeing real progress, but it'll be helped along if we can get more Brits involved.
Hi buddy, i haven't been on for quite a while. Hoping to be back in Keller at the end of January.
Do you have a proper rugby club, or is it kick & chase ra-ra?

There are several chapters of the Daughters of the British Empire in the Plano area. Check out www.dbenational.org and let me know if you are interested and I can get you in touch with the right people. I'm in Austin but have been with DBE for 5 years now.

Plano was the 1st place i moved to when i was 11 years old and had a great time out there. the people are friendly and the weather is hot! the polar opposite of england. of all the states I've lived in, Texas was the most laid back.

anyway more to the point i remember a few brit family's dotted around and I'm sure they are still there to be found. Id try putting a sign up in the Deerfield clubhouse

Hi Fellow Brits,

I live in Plano and have been here for 10yrs now, I love Dallas but find it a little boring to say the least.
I'm originally from Manchester and the third child from a Family of 6 girls....
I live here with my Husband, Stephane who is Canadian from Montreal and My Son Daniel who is now a fully pledged Texan...lol.

I'm interested in connecting with some fun loving Brits who like to socialize, go out for a curry, dance, and have general fun....That's what Brits do best.

I found this site after going to party city to buy buntin and other stuff to decorate the outside of my house for the Royal Wedding, but I was looked at like I had 2 heads and told..."Why would we sell that" I mentioned that every U.S. TV channel is broadcasting the wedding but the guy in Party city was not amused, I however was mortified as they decorate their homes here for everything even Valentines day!! I have made my own buntin and I'm dressing up tomorrow in a british flag dress, wedding veil and attaching a Union Jack flag to my Mini Cooper. Let me know what's happening in your World and if there is anyone getting together for the Royal Wedding.

Hi,

I'm moving into the area at the end of June - I have a job at UTSW Medical Center and would appreciate some advice about areas to consider / avoid when choosing where to live... and socialising when I get there, of couse!

I'm driving from TN to TX on June 28th and start work on June 29th so I'll need to arrange accomodation from the UK!

Thanks,

J

I live in Addison, moved here from Manchester in 2009, but still looking to find like minded people that understand brit humour - Donna
