I’m from Corby, on the edge of Northants/ Leicestershire! Just south of Leicester actually. Where are you from?

I’ve been to Lincoln a few times now actually, my fiancée has a lot of family there. I’ve even been to a Husker game which was an experience lol.

I’ve not been to a game, but I’ve seen the fans go crazy! Not as crazy as our football fans though.

Yeah I’ve actually been to Dudley a few times, I know a few people from there too!

My fiancée is from Omaha so I’m moving over to get married in the summer. We don’t have plans of moving anytime soon either. It’s a nice city and just the right size for me as I come from a small town lol.

What brought you to Lincoln? I love it there! If we were going to move from Omaha, Lincoln would definitely be one of the options. The caption building is amazing! We could hardly fit inside the lift to take us to the top floor when I visited last lol

Cool! Are you over as a student or something? I leave in 2 days! First two weeks spent in SD then back down to Omaha.. I hope the weather gets a little better by the time I do!

No, I’m coming over with work. It wasn’t my first choice destination and I’ve never been but hey, was a great opportunity to get my foot in the door in the US! Yourself?

Nice! I’ll be living in the South Millard area, right on 132nd. My fiancée is thoroughbred Nebraskan! Omaha is a nice place, really chilled and a lot of things to do in the summer. Are you coming by yourself? You should defo check out the zoo! And a Husker Game Day. Be ready for humid 40°c heat in the summer and the -20°c with blizzards in the winter!

I live in Lincoln which is about an hour away from Omaha!
There’s more to see in Omaha than Lincoln, plenty of farms and flat lands here.

I’ve been here over two years now originally from the West Midlands
