hi,
we're up in arlington near dallas, so no where near you guys.
i was just going to suggest changing the title from Katy to Houston as you'll probably have more luck in finding people that way.
good luck and welcome to Texas..
Hot enough for ya?!

Hi kerrilou,
We just moved to Houston last month and have finally settled into our new place and got my son into preschool, so would like to start to meet some people now:-) PM if you fancy meeting for a coffee or something. We don't live in Katy but don't think it's too far for me to travel.
Thanks,
Anita

Welcome. We're in Grayson Lakes, Katy. There are quite a few Katy people on here and loads of Houstonians. We should definitely do a meet-up soon. The only one we made it to was a meet up at Baker St. pub two years back but there have been a couple of Houston/Katy meet-ups since.
Trying to arrange a time, date and venue is a near impossible task though... anyone fancy a stab at it?
Cheers,
Doug

Hi all,
We moved over nearly 5 weeks ago from the UK - we are in Cinco Ranch area also - a meet up would be great.

Ok... will start throwing out Katy venues and see if anyone bites. Can then work on dates... How's about...
Baker Street Pub (Cinco Ranch) or
The Public House (Villagio) or
Watsons (Tucked behind the corner of I-10/Highway 6)
...any other suggestions?
Timing-wise, a sunday afternoon works best for us due to kids' sports etc. But we may be flexible depending on the date.
If anyone's interested, let us know your thoughts.
Cheers,
Doug.
