Anyone out here looking for work in UAE? do you know what jobs are hot or not?

I am wondering if finance jobs are back in demand after all the gfc.

Well lots of people left Dubai after that so maybe its better now. I have been searching online but it appears nothing really stands out.

I read this report on Bigdaw that provided good contact info for local recruiters and tips.

I am planning to get in touch with as many recruiters as possible.

any tips?

Not so much in the UAE. Most expats (& that's 70% of total population) have to leave by the age of 65. They don't want the place cluttered up with old people.
