UAE Sovereign Wealth Fund Offer
 

Hello all. I’ve been offered a legal role with a well-known government investment firm in the UAE:
-SVP/Associate Director level
-Monthly salary 80K AED (40K salary/40k allowances)
-Target bonus 30%
-School allowance 70k per year
Moving with wife and 2 children (primary school age). I’ll be the sole earner. Any thoughts on the offer? How does it compare to similar roles or investment roles at that level?

That’s a great package. Packages like this are quite rare these days. I’d go for it. You should be able to live comfortably, especially with schooling covered.
