Thinking about a new career

I am employed in the UK as an IT Security specialist. I don't have a degree, although I do have globally recognized qualifications. I am employed as a permanent member of staff on a salary of £90k outside of London.

Having just come through a whopper of a divorce, I need to rebuild my life, and at the age of 55, a I'll need a whopper of a deposit so...I was thinking, is a 1 or 2 year stint in the ME a way to raise a deposit ? Some adverts I have seen are indicating £180K in Kuwait / Saudi. I am single, no dependencies ... thoughts ?

I think you may need a degree for KSA.

It’s a well trodden path.
