Soon to be sacked? Need your prompt Advice
Hello dear forum
My manager is since months trying to find and collect any mistake or shortcomings to sack me and gave me a written warning letter on the grounds of low performance which is unjustified.
I want to amicable escalate the issue internally to higher level or
If I just resign I will be accepting unfounded low performance issues which might have negative impact on my future career.
I'd ask your kind advice!
Do you know any cheap lawyer in Dubai to help me to draft my response letters/ emails.
Thanks

For escalation, look at your employment contract: that should have a discplinary and grievance policy / procedure. If not, read the UAE Labour Law carefully, it sets out what you can be sacked for. Keep written records of any significant events or conversations with your boss.
Good luck.

Document everything so that you can counter their arguments. If you've been dossing on the side or surfing the net a bit too much, then I'm afraid they've got you.
There's no such thing as constructive dismissal here in the UAE, but if you feel you are dismissed unfairly, you can lodge the complaint with the Ministry of Labour.
As for amicable resolution, you can ask for a performance review (where you should be able to have a frank discussion), or you could talk to HR, then look into lodging a formal grievance... but start looking for a new job before you do!
