Hi all,
I am also in the same boat as I have had my certificate with "No Live Trace".
I saw some references to a letter and specific text, anyway someone can share this with me? I had an issue when I was 19 where I got fined £100 for common assault and not sure how the embassy would view this?

I wouldn’t think there is any specific text it’s just that you should put some effort trying to explain the context and that you are not a bad person, things happened when we were younger and we have moved on. Also emphasis the amazing track record you have in your current career and all the experience you are excited to bring to the country…

And there I was thinking I was the only consultant/criminal….

Sure there is more than two of us! As Frank said, "Even a fool gets to be young once"
Thanks, yes pretty much seems the guess but reading this and other trails, it seems a frustrating position where the embassy has internal "guidelines" for this that only they know and none of the Visa consultants so only grey answers when we want a firm yes for god sake!

Ok, well ill make the application and note down the issues. I lived in the UAE for 3.5 years from 2015-2018, are they likely to need the "certificate of good conduct" or something rather as well?
Wont build anything for 2030 at this pace!

My advice would be to do what I did (since it worked), I accompanied my SAR with a cover letter. However, I had a very specific context. I'd be happy to share this with you via inbox (not the letter itself, but my context and reason for providing a cover letter). My visa was approved.
Ultimately its the discretion of those embassy staff. Good luck mate.
Stressful times!

Hi all,I'm in a similar situation and I was looking for some help. I have a job offer in KSA and have applied for the ACRO. I know this may sound ridiculous, however was wondering if driving cases such as speeding and points show up on acro and whether you could be declined on visa. Also if you have a pending court case as I am challenging using a handheld device whilst driving as I wasn't. Would this come up on acro and affect work visa. I applied for my acro 2 weeks ago and the court later for using a handheld device only came today. Thank you
