Hi guys,

I'm an Aussie IT security manager with over 12 years experience in the financial industry. I have been approached by QA for a similar gig in Doha, and the recruiter had told me to come back to her with a salary package after the completion of the first round of interview with the hiring manager.


From what I had gathered on the forum and reading on the forum, there doesn’t seem to salary standard for Qatar's pay structure and would appreciate any advice you guys might have.

(Riyal)
Base salary: 40K
Housing allowance: 15k
Transport allowance: 5K

In total: 60K Riyal (Plus full medicals, flights return home, 30 days annual leave)

Is this package reasonable for a grade 8/9 pay scale?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Your post is rather hard to understand...

That said, 60k per month would be considered a very good package indeed, so my advice would be to go for it!
