salaries in saudi arabia?
 

Hello.

I would like to know roughly what a "good" salary (in EUR or US$) would be in Saudi Arabia.

Role as senior team leader/senior civil engineer. I am not married/have no children, so I do not need school/huge accomodation etc.

Since I have just a basic information and no offer yet, I'd like to have an idea.

I would say a good salary is US$ 300,000 + package

Any less and it wouldnt be good to me. But I have nearly 2 kids, If I didnt then 250K would be good.

If I had 3 kids then neither 250 or 300 would be good

However it might be OK

That is a lot of dosh. Can I ask what industry you are in?

I am in the banking field and do not earn as even half of this.

I had an offer in March this year to work at an European bank in Riyadh.
This was Associate Vice President level, within Equities.

The offer was:
Salary of SAR 271k
Housing Allowance of SAR 81k
Car Allowance of SAR 56k

So, total annual package of SAR 408k - or USD 109k.

This is comfortable for a single guy, but no more than that.
It is certainly not a great offer, or a lavish wage.

I'd say a really good package in Riyadh would be USD 120k plus housing on top.

Lol, I didnt say I earned 300K. Just that 300K would be a good salary :D

Is there any one employed as an Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineer in Saudi Arabia? And what does HE/SHE, well definitely He, earns?
