Exclamation Project Managers

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this but seeing as how many peeps out there are looking for a job, a friend of mine just told me they're looking for some PM's in construction for AD.

You can pm me if you're interested ...... if I shouldn't post this here, can someone tell me where I can post it please?

It also depends on how desperate people are to stay here and to get themselves a job. We all know that the golden years of the Middle east are gone .... they were gone when we got here in 2006. Now it's just a matter of getting a job you (at least) enjoy, and keeping it for survival.

Just my humble opinion of course

Yeah, very true, I know of many people arriving here in Saudi and their salaries are not that much higher than they were earning in the UK, its the lure of tax free living that tends to sway the decision.

I have to say though - and will get my coat even before I've said it, Project Management is one the most boring jobs in the world. I've been doing it for the last 5 months months and got til the end of this year to get through this 'project' I'm on. Does me head in. How dull.

It massages the ego's of those who thrive on processes and systems, and are control freaks. if you're like that, you'll go far in the PM world.

It's challenging because of all the retards that work out here. Seriously, i've never seen such a bunch of dimwits that work out here. Even the top PM's and PQS practices. They're all completely useless.
