Processes involved from Interview to Start date - Dubai
Hi All
Was wanting to know what processes are involved right from news of a positive interview outcome to the start date - What are the types of checks made by the prospective employer, what sort of timescales do we expect - Also at what stage it is sensible to handover notice to the current UK employer
Fairly sure this varies across industry / companies but was keen to get a rough picture

Huge variation between industries and companies. Also dependant on nationalities and place of recruitment.

Private companies 2-6 weeks
Some semi gov and gov companies are asking for the good conduct certificate even though it has officially been put on hold
Medical check HIV and chest x ray are done for all visas. I wouldn't give notice to a UK company until visa approvals have been done and approved
