Less of those roles here and salaries are much lower than the UK
A friend has been doing an OT role in the UK and looked at moving here. Salary was way less than she is getting in the UK

These roles are typically filled by skilled staff from South East Asia and the subcontinent and/or by staff from the Middle East.
Why hire an Anglo when for a third of that cost you can hire a Syrian or Egyptian who speaks the local language ?
