Unhappy Job Seeking - Pay websites

I have been out of work for a few months now (Property and Construction) but still hanging in.

I have been sent Links regarding web sites/Agencies that require me to pay to join. I have heard that several of these are cons.

Has anyone had any experience, or joined any of these sites, with any degree of success???????

Sorry to hear you are out of work. Something will turn up, I'm sure.

Re websites, this is one that is guaranteed to ring the bell; www.sendmeyourmoneynowyoutwat.com.

My bell, not yours! Of course they are all a con, except the one above that's real. Honest!

you should never have to pay. any company that asks you to do so is dodgy.

yes, recruitment agencies get paid (quite a bit) by the company who's looking to fill a job space. This has the added bonus of making them actually want to place people quickly, rather than the situation you describe above, which would essentially pay them to put your CV "on file"... you know, in that handy slimline cabinet behind the radiator, or just directly in the bin.

What do you do?

I work in Property & Construction recruitment....

Also, ANY company asking for money from a candidate is a scam, fact.

Recruitment companies charge the client a % of your salary for the service provided, money should never change hands between the candidate and the agency....
