Job offer Doha, Banking role
Thank you for reading my post.
I have been told by an established bank I am being offered a role as a BA in International IT projects.
I am 36 from the UK, I intend to bring my wife and 2 year old with me if the offer is right.
I have 10 years experience and current salary as follows, all below are NET per month.
£4.6k salary
last 2 year’s bonus of 22k, factoring 1k per month
12% pension contribution- estimating 600 per month.
Private healthcare and gym -£100 a month
I equate my NET salary as 6.3k GBP a month.
That being said, is 40k QAR + 25k for school / accom/ adhoc a realistic equivalent for my salary?
I don’t drink, me and the wife do like eating out but mainly junk food I would class our lifestyle as moderate.
My wife is open to working, she has a pharmacy degree but works currently in Sales, I understand it’s very difficult for other halves to find jobs, is this still the case?
and finally is it still doom and gloom following on from the oil and gas slowdown or are things picking up? Any thoughts on how this will impact 2022 WC?
thanks all

So why would they hire her when they can hire a qualified pharmacist from an Arab country, who speaks Arabic and English ?

Totally appreciate that, us moving is not dependent on her finding work anyway, just wasn’t sure what demand was like out there.
Thanks for your help
