This is may be very general question, and hard to answer it accurately. but do we have any idea on what sort of salary is being offered in AED for P1 & P2 band positions ? Rough idea on salary range ?

Hi Chris,

To my understanding p1/2/3/4 are merely a rank, there isn't a published range for any of them. Having read through this forum I gathered that the salary offered takes into account you previous 3 years compensation. Its better/easier to think about how much you want and see if this matches what your recruiters opinion.

Guys, I have my PDI assessment next week. Any Pointers on how to prepare for this assessment ? it's a whole day assessment. I have never done any assessment like this before.

1. Be yourself to manage your psychology assessment
2. Practice numerical, verbal and logical reasoning tests from Jobstestprep to gain familiarity.

Actually it depends on aptitude tests whats ADIA criteria, ie they looking for 70% above marks.

My interviews went well, but my aptitude tests didn't hit ADIA criteria, so I am awaiting feedback on my results. The process at ADIA for aptitude tests makes no sense unless you're a graduate who lacks work experience imo.

How does one go about getting an interview with ADIA? I have 5 years experience in trading / research for a top tier bank. I'm eager to get set up out there as my gf has just been offered a position in the cleveland clinic in Abu Dhabi.

Been waiting for 6 weeks since I submitted my docs for security checks. I was told it would take 8 to 10 weeks.

I don't think oil prices will affect hiring.

Hi Guys,

Spoke to my recruiter today and he has advised me against any form of negotiation, warning me that ADIA may take away any offer on the table. Is this really the case? Considering the culture and history over there I would expect negotiating was the norm.

Any advice from someone who has/has not successfully negotiated would be very helpful. Please PM me if possible.
