Football Coach looking for work
I am an experienced football coach based in the UK who is looking to relocate. I have a UEFA A Licence as well as degree BSc in Sports Science. I have been coaching in the UK for the last 13 years at all levels and need a new challenge. Does anyone have any idea of how I go about looking for work in the Middle East. Any help would be much appreciated and if anyone has any contacts that would be even better.
Cheers Luke

Try IFA but you may be overqualified. They train kids in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

What does "all levels" actually mean? Are you Avram Grant in disguise?

I have coached in the premier league at youth age groups and worked with many players now plying their trade as professionals in the premier league, coca cola championship etc. I am not Avram Grant, much younger and better looking.

I met this youngish Dutch coach of Al Ahli Saudi's Olympic squad (U-23s) at Jeddah airport a few weeks ago. Think the main coach is also Dutch so he's obviously come over to Jeddah on the back of that.
Nice guy. Not sure how he's getting on controlling a load of Saudi yoofs, who were strutting their stuff in departures in their club tracksuits and Arsenal-esque big headphones, but he seemed to want to talk to another Westerner and actually came up to me to strike up a conversation.

I am just looking to move out of the uk not sure where yet. It will depend a lot on where I can get the work I am looking for.

Also, look out for the King of Saudi Arabia running a "Home Brewing" seminar, and Adolf Hitler running the "Judaeo-Christian Friendship Alliance".

Funny as it might sound but Carlton Palmer does run a football academy, I looked into it. Not sure about the others though, they might be a bit far fetched.
