Default Financial Advisers in Dubai

Hi, just wondered if anyone had heard of One International in Dubai?
What are your thoughts on them? I know they are a relatively new company.

Yes, I know of them and would strongly advise you to avoid them. Last I heard they were having financial difficulties. They operate very differently to their UK parent company, and not in a good way.

If you are a qualified and experienced adviser (and that's really the only way to survive and do a good job here) there are better companies.

How can an advisory business that doesn't pay its staff retainers have financial difficulties. Surely, their only overhead is rent and a filipina admin person?

Clawbacks

An advisory licence doesn't come cheap and they have to deposit a large sum as security. You can bet their local directors are drawing large sums to pay for their fancy cars and villas too. (Allegedly etc)

Thank you for your replies.

I believe they are having a big recruitment for relationship managers now, or perhaps it's new blood.
I wasn't aware they had a UK parent company, other than they are a UK company based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
