Hi everyone
I have applied 1 job with Emirates, and this is my first time im applying for a job with Emirates. Im not familiar with the recruitment process at all. Ii have tried to find some info online, but its like a jungle out there and i dont know what info is accurate or not. I have had a hard time getting a clear view about their recruitment process.
Could someone here who have some info about this, explain from start to finish how their recruitment process looks like? Obviously every role is different ect, but just a general view, so i can get a picture of how it might look like.
Regarding grades with Emirates, how can we find out what the grades are? Will we know about the job grade once we do an interview?
I wish we knew the grades before going further with their recruitment process.
If anyone here works for Emirates can you perhaps share your timeline, from application to interview to date of joining?
How long does it take for someone to join this company? A typical timeline? Again i know every applicant have unique timeline ect, but i want to know just so i can understand how it works.
I have noticed there are these job status for each stage during the application process. My application at the moment is Application Under Review. What are the rest of the application status we might see along the road if we get successful to come that far?
Now that my status is Under Review, for how long will my application be under review?
If anyone went through all of this, i would appreciate it, if someone could shed some light about this.
It all sounds so complicated for me because im so used to the job process/interviews here in UK.

All EK recruitment is done online. This is not the best forum for answers, try dedicated ones for aviation. I especially recommend PPRUNE which has reams of info on EK recruitment.

Bit specialised, most people on here are in construction (brick counters & engineers) and O&G.

I read somewhere that not a lot of people would discuss their jobs at Emirates in fear of getting fired. Dont know if if this is accurate or not.

You were asking about recruitment process etc. which is hardly secret. You may be thinking of Qatar Airways where the regime for the trolly dollies is extremely harsh and repressive.

This is all quite assumptive that you're the single, only and best candidate for the role. You've sent your CV. Just calm down and wait for the call / email to tell you if they want to see you or not.
