Dubai - Abu Dhabi commute
 

Hi Guys

I know this question has been asked a few times and a lot of my friends who are working for the same company live in Dubai due to having lower housing costs but is this still the same case? My office will be in Dubai but my workshop will be in Abu Dhabi. Possibly going to workshop every day but more than likely not. Realistically i would think my time will be 60% Abu Dhabi (ICAD) 20% travelling (FROM DXB) and 20% Dubai office. Also i'm coming over with my pregnant wife so a better expat community would be more what we are leaning towards. We where thinking Jumeriah park (Reasonably close to SZR).

Anyone doing similar? Is it really worth picking Dubai over Abu dhabi and adding so much onto my commute?

Also mods if possible can you please move this to the sandpit?
