Physiotherapists arent paid the best in this part of the world
At some of the leading clinics they are paid AED10-15000 and depending on the company accomodation and commission. Most roles are covered by Arabs and Filipinos
( This information is from a friend who until recently recruited for the healthcare sector)
An idea of costs for a single person living here
Monthly costs
1 bed apartment anything from 4000-8000 ( the latter being a nice area)
Utilities for a 1 bed with no district cooling 550 ( this includes annual housing) with district cooling 700
Internet and TV 360
Mobile phone package 200 a month
Petrol i do 34km per day plus pass the salik gate twice 600
Food shop ( carrefour and M&S) 1400
eating and drinking. If i do a brunch then go out afterwards i can easily spend 1000 on one night
car hire 1500-2000 per month
There are then incidentals ( annual car insurance I own my own car, plus car registration this is paid annually at 2k)
beauty products and my ladies salon stuff ( if you are Male forget this)
You then have to factor in holidays, savings, committments at home ( mortgate, NI contributions etc)
Not a cheap place to live if on a low salary
