Get a room you pair of rectum ticklers..

Now for the record, I was one of the guys who tried my best to help MrHaps. Alas to no avail. However I an in agreance with Jock macplop that the 'help I've been sacked' 'help I need a job' 'al raha beach is on hold' threads are just ****ing tedious now..

People who have been sacked here post like they have been shot. Its a job, you were laid off/sacked whatever. Spend more time looking, researching, sorting your shit out rather than looking for the sympathy vote from housewifes, bellends and tarts on here.
This aint expatwoman....

That you do. In our industry people come and go all the time...no song, no dance.
People here have been tossing it off for years and what is happening is a reality check...nothing more.

The streets are not paved with gold anymore. Go home or go elsewhere, anywhere just stop moaning or coming on here expecting the ever familiar and repetative sob story to be met with open arms, false claims of assistance, false sympathy, false hope.

At least telling people that they are screwed here, go home is good advice

I disagree...It doesn't have to do with industry type or anything...
It's a matter of character...Some can bite the bullet, others cry when they feel a breeze...

It has been said so many times on here that you require an exit strategy. As far as I am concerned, if someone in the 2 main industries that are being hit in Dubai (Construction and Real Estate) has simply propped the Barasti bar up for the last few months and worked on the premise that they are far too important to be laid off, therefore dont need an exit strategy, rather than plan ahead for the possibility, then you are your own worst enemy...

If its sympathy they want, someone post the EW site....

Its a bit late to shut the door once the horse has bolted and, if the horse has bolted, its time to walk....

I assume you have your bags and your children's packed ready just in case your company sacks you (and others), doesn't pay you your 3 months' notice, let alone your gratuity, holiday pay etc. Informs the bank so they freeze your account...

You are quite right I should have planned - lesson learned
