Default CLEARLY TOTALLY BONKERS

So following on from my post yonks ago about dragging my family from their nice settled life in England and bring them to the giant sand pit with added heat it all could be happening. I've had me phone interview and am over for the formal interview at the end of April with the intention of being in AD from beginning of July (why the delay? I'm off to France for a couple of weeks and will probably need that holiday before tacking the Abu Dhabi housing Market)

If they deliver what's promised in terms of salary, allowances and relocation fees it's a good deal for us. The company's hospitality dept is supposed to be sorting out visits with estate agents. Since housing is my main headache I would obviously like to contact some myself. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, I'd be interested in hearing AD residents give their likes and dislikes of certain areas. So why do you live where you do? Bear in mind I have two kids of six and 4... and, yeah, I know I might just have to take the first suitable place in the price range...

Im not going to ask anything else until I after I've done the visit.
