couldn't help am afraid - but would suggest to your friend to pursue the operators at Yas Island for info on recruitement as an option. I am led to beleive that many hotels are fully booked for race day - regardless of the current status of the construction.
such hotels would normally be mobilising their staff at least 4-5 months prior to opening....good luck
